The Senior School Provision Group

Implements strategies to improve student VCE/VCAL outcomes through MEC student programs and teacher professional learning. Some strategies include:

  • Year 12 Educational Seminar in February
  • Parent and student information evening with Michael Carr-Gregg on ‘Surviving the VCE’
  • Coalition revision sessions for mid-year and end of year external examinations
  • VCE teacher workshops across the MEC schools to share information, ideas and resources
  • Maths method revision session in Term 3 by an experienced subject marker
  • Additional study skills and motivation session in late Term 3 for Year 12 students on how to ‘Ace your Exams’
