The Curriculum Leaders Team

Implements strategies to improve student learning outcomes through MEC student projects and activities, and teacher professional learning.

Some strategies include:

  • Organising joint curriculum days for coalition teachers in 2008 and 2009
  • Applying for funded projects that involves three or more coalition schools
  • Planning videoconferencing events for junior students
  • Working on ‘MEC Vision and Values’ statements that define teaching and learning across the  coalition
  • Visiting other schools to observe innovative curriculum programs, learning spaces and pastoral  care models
  • Sharing of individual school curriculum programs, student learning data and documents such as  VELS and reporting templates
