Video Conferencing Initiative
The MEC is keen to use videoconferencing to connect students through: local, national and global projects, inter-coalition debates, and student leadership meetings. The MEC has already used this Technology to: link with Wedderburn SC and to the South Learning Centre in New Zealand, to facilitate teacher professional learning, to deliver a student exhibition debate across coalition schools and facilitate shared Unit 3/4 Specialist Maths classes between two coalition schools.
The MEC is registered with the AT&T Knowledge Network Explorer Videoconferencing Directory and is interested in establishing projects with other schools using videoconference and other web based technology.
