Welcome to the MEC
In 2005, Maroondah SC, Norwood SC, Parkwood SC and Ringwood SC united under the Leading Schools Fund project to provide an innovative and unique education solution for students within the Maroondah network, whilst addressing common concerns regarding student retention, engagement, VCE results and pathways.
Maroondah Schools Regeneration Project
Since 2007, the Principals of seven neighbourhood secondary schools; Croydon SC, Croydon Community School, Heathmont College, Maroondah SC, Norwood SC, Parkwood SC and Ringwood SC have been working together on the Maroondah Schools Regeneration Project – a proposal for the redevelopment of government secondaryschools that has the capacity to re-envisge and renew education for young people in the local Maroondah Area.
